It probably wont end up in that paint scheme. Look at it for the technical aspects. The reinforcements on the chassis are crazy.

Very nice, 2000hp viper's do exist you just don't see many around because nobody's crazy enough to attempt it.

When did you become so sensible all of a sudden?

I agree though. Real beefy craftsmanship in the chassis. I'm not really a Viper fan, but you have to appreciate engineering.

It's a full-on race car, that's for sure!

On the downside, 2000HP on the street is not just unusable, it's actually dangerous because even drag radials are not going to keep that power from wildly spinning the tires right off of idle, and likely at the worst times.

So it ends up being a race car for either drag racing or top speed runs, which definitely limits the car. Still, Hennessey does offer a boost controller with graduated power delivery.

Despite Henessey's poor reputation, high prices, and this wildly impractical power, he does build VERY fast cars.

Just not ones that I'd buy. :P

It's still a VERY impressive monster.

XD SpecV. I still think you could control the viper on the streets though, just have to turn your little boost knob waaayyyy down.

And thanks BC haha.

Even on low boost you'll be making upwards of 600whp. If you need any more power on the roads you must live beside an abandoned airstrip or you live where speed limits don't exist.

Indeed I was talking GTS, 03-06 SRT's though :8)
450-500 Crank means 400-440 at the wheels. On low boost 6PSI I've seen many vipers sitting at 650whp with a basic bold on setup.

The 08's would be another story. there already making 500+ to the wheels. You can get over 600 to the pavement with breathing mods and a cam.

They better offer tires made out of the same stuff the flash resoles his basketball shoes out of.

As for the paint on the car in the pic I think it's kind of prophectic.

Yeah, it's important to talk the same terms, with 525RWHP = 600 crank HP.

The TT Hennessey Vipers have variable boost in each gear so that 1st gear caps out around 500RWHP, 2nd has around 600RWHP and 4th gear and up have full power available.

The only trouble is that still means that on street tires a regular Viper is probably just as fast up to around 75MPH, and even with drag radials the TT Venom is likely to spin it's tires up to 120MPH+ which reduces it's real-world advantages of having higher HP.

The aftermarket seems kind of placid of late. Even Man-Sorry has been quiet.

Hell even the relentless onslaught of tuner Mustangs has been ceased.

Even worse is no one has offered an LS7 Camaro package yet :(
